On Sunday, March 11, the Warriors men's tennis team returned to action in their first Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) match against the Culinary Institute of America (CIA). The CIA Steels have been a very difficult team to beat over the past few seasons. The Warriors competed hard but were not able to have much success against the poised Steels team. The men's tennis team would drop their first conference match to the Steels by a final score of 8-1.
O'Brian Williams (Savanna-La-Mar, JA) had a solid performance for the Warriors in the loss. Williams defeated his singles opponent in the 5th singles position. He also played well in his doubles match, but lost in the tie breaker.
The men's tennis team will face the SUNY Delhi Broncos in a non-conference match on Saturday, March 31. The match will be played at SUNY Delhi.
